This Autumn and Winter, The Garage is set to bring some all time classic movies back to the big screen, as we transform The Engine Shop into Chilwell and Beeston's biggest cinema.
With almost one hundred 1930's theatre seats (sourced from local cinema The Byron in Hucknall) and our 5m wide screen, take a step back in time with your friends and family in the most interesting of the spaces at The Garage, The Engine Shop, to watch some of the most popular films ever made.
Running on the first and last Thursday's of the month with tickets priced at £6. Doors open at 7pm and films start at 8pm. Classic cinema snacks will be available as well as local beers, gins, wines and soft drinks from the bar.

CLASSIC CINEMA AT THE GARAGE
There are various public car parks within walking distance to The Garage. These include Wilmot Lane Car Park and Chilwell Road Car Park. The Garage has some of the best local transport links in the country so we recommend using local transport and taxis where possible.
All seating is unreserved.
Classic cinema snacks will be available to purchase from the bar as well as alcoholic and soft drinks.
Though food will not be available at The Garage, we'd encourage you to support local businesses and eat at any of the high quality restaurants that are in Chilwell and Beeston.
Doors to the event will open at 19:00. Films will begin at 20:00. Any guests arriving after 20:00 may not be permitted into the event.
Dirty Dancing has been given a classification rating of 12. Anyone under the age of 12 cannot attend this screening unless they are accompanied by an adult, however we advice that you do not take anyone under 12 to see this film. All other films are rated as PG.
Anyone under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
Please dress appropriately and consider bringing warm clothes with you. The venue is an ex bus garage and it is therefore difficult to heat efficiently. If you would like to bring a blanket you may do so, however the event organisers and venue take no responsibility for any damages or theft occurred while at the event.
