The largest History and Culture Festival in England heads to

The Garage on September 14th 2019

Heritage Open Days 25

Now going into its 25th year, Heritage Open Days is the largest grass roots Heritage and Culture Festival in England. With over 40,000 volunteers helping pull together 5,000 events across the country, various historical buildings, venues and grounds open their doors to celebrate their heritage with the community.

It's a fantastic way to explore what can be the otherwise hidden history of Britain.

This year, in cooperation with Barton Bros. Limited, Bartons plc have agreed to open up their remaining historical garage buildings (made up of The Engine Shop, Docking Shop 1 & 2 and TH Barton Hall) to showcase their incredible archive of memorbilia and classic vehicles at their home in Chilwell. Follow the story of a family business that went on to be the largest of its kind in Western Europe.
